Nick Harris of Jarrolds Cookery Demonstration & Dining Experience

Executive Chef Nick Harris of Jarrolds oversees the kitchens across all the dining outlets in store. Originally from Cornwall, Nick started his career working in his parents’ restaurant before heading to several prestigious establishments from Michelin stars to large volume catering up to 1300 covers a day at 3 rosette level and a brigade of 64 chefs.

To name drop, but a few places such as in London and the Home Counties, including Cliveden, Crazy Bear, The Lanesborough and Quaglino’s. 51 Buckingham Gate and where we were awarded London must excellent hotel of the year by Cond’e Nast Johansen.

My last post was with Maclaren F1 & based at Mercedes Benz in Surrey. A member of The Craft Guild of Chefs and the Masterchefs of Great Britain, Nick has cooked for Queen Elizabeth II, Kylie Minogue and Elton John, among others. Nick married a “Norfolk girl” he met in Quaglino’s and the pair moved to the county over a decade ago, when Jarrolds caught his eye.

Seared Tuna
with wasabi, coriander and pickled vegetable salad
Halibut scented with saffron.
Parsley velouté,
pickled apple and radish served with new potatoes and a sourdough crouton.
Summer pudding
Norfolk red berries and Cornish clotted cream
Nick will provide all guests with recipes for each of the dishes and we will be using the Theatre Kitchen allowing you to interact with Nick while he is demonstrating.
